A color set is the set of colors that are being displayed on a mode. The Chroma Evolution allows you to choose up to 8 colors per color set out of a 40 color palette. Each of the 6 modes can be programmed to have its own distinct color set.

Example: The default color set for Mode 1 is SILVER (H), YELLOW (H), GARNET (H), and BLUE (H). Shake a Chroma Evolution light back and forth to see all 4 of these colors in sequence.

The Color Randomizer is a new feature that will create a random color set for you. You can use the Color Randomizer by following these steps:

  1. Turn ON your light and click to the mode you want to change the color set for.
  2. Click and hold the button down until your light flashes ORANGE, then release.
  3. The Color Randomizer will flash RED, GREEN, BLUE. Click and hold the button until the light flashes RED, then release.
  4. You will now have a random color set to use. If you are unsatisfied with the color set generated, you can repeat steps 2-3 to find another random color set.
Note: If you accidentally click past Color Randomizer, it will show WHITE, the first color in the pallette. Color Randomizer only shows up at the beginning of color selection before you move on to WHITE.

The Chroma Evolution's improved programmability allows you to program up to 8 colors in each color set or use the Color Randomizer effortlessly to pick a random color set for you. Please use the chart below for reference while following each step:

  1. Turn ON your light and click to the mode you want to change the color set for.
  2. Click and hold the button down until your light flashes ORANGE, then release.
  3. The Color Randomizer will flash RED, GREEN, BLUE. Click once past Color Randomizer and the light will change to WHITE, the first color in the color palette.
  4. You can now cycle through all 40 colors by clicking one at a time.
  5. When you find a color you want to select, click and hold the button for half a second and then release. You have selected your first color.
  6. Your light will now return to WHITE. You may now select your next color. You can repeat this until you've selected up to 8 colors. After your 8th color, the light will return to the selected mode with your custom color set.
  7. If you want to use less than 8 colors, you can exit color programming at any time by clicking to ' BLANK' (appears flashing WHITE) and hold the button down until it flashes RED, then release.
Chroma Evolution Colors

When choosing colors for your custom color set, you have 3 brightness level options: HIGH (H), MEDIUM (M), LOW (L). You also have Color Reversal (Flicker) as a 4th option, which allows you to go back to the previous color in the color palatte in case you skipped over the color you wanted to select.

Why use different tint levels?

You can add a lot more variety to your color sets by making some colors more subtle and others more emphasized. Secondly, using lower tints can help prolong your battery life. The default colors on the Chroma Evolution mode 1 are all high tint, so they will consume maximum battery.

Tip: Sky Blue(L) + Purple(H) + Mint(M) on Strobe looks really nice.

Changing Tint Level and using Color Reversal

  1. When selecting a color during color programming mode, hold the button down for at least 2 seconds and the light will cycle through the 3 brightness levels and a flashing Color Reversal option.
  2. Release the button on your desired brightness level to add that color to your color set.
  3. If you release the button on the flashing option, "Color Reversal," the light will jump to the previous color in the color palette allowing you to continue the color selection.
Color Reversal can be repeated as many times as needed, except on the color " Blank".

A Flashing Pattern is the type of strobing or flashing effect the light uses. Does it strobe super fast, blink super slow, or does it just stay solid? Turn your lights on and wave them very fast in front of you to see!

Each of the Chroma Evolution's 6 modes can be switched between 16 different Flashing Pattern options.

The Chroma Evolution has 16 different flashing patterns you can choose from to customize your light. Please use the chart below for reference while following each step:

Chroma Evolution Flashing Patterns

The Chroma Evolution lights use two CR1225 batteries per glove light. A single 20-pack of our CR1225 batteries will be enough to power an entire glove set.

The Chroma Evolution lights will last 6-10 hours on a full set of batteries so you don't have to worry about them dying partway through the night. The time may vary depending on the selected colors and pattern being used.

Using lower tints for colors can help prolong battery life when compared to their brighter counterparts.
